Hi Cabin Fever Moderators,
Cool movie, love the makeup especially! Who was your legal/sales representation?
For example, Napoleon Dynamite was represented by Cinetic Media. Who was the equivalent of Cinetic Media for you guys?
Best, RAW

Hey Eli, cannot wait for Hostel!
By the way, is the current DVD release your preffered cut? According to IMDb.com on the 'alternative versions' section there were 2 minutes cut from the theatrical and DVD release. Why Eli? Whyyy....

Hi Everyone, I just got back from Prague, where I shot my new film HOSTEL. The shoot was AWESOME. I had the best fucking time. This film is going to be really, really, really disturbing. It's going to be much darker than CABIN FEVER, and far more violent. I hope you guys like it! I'm now going to start editing, so don't expect too many posts, but I wanted to let you all know how cool it is you're still writing and talking about the film. That really means a lot to me. So cool. Anyway... SUNSHINE - I can't worry about the negative comments. The positive ones are the ones I enjoy, but if you only listen to those you're kidding yourself. I just try to make a film that I believe in, and hopefully audiences will respond. The negative stuff tends to be personal attacks from people who are jealous that I have had a degree of success, and those people don't even know me, so it doesn't really bother me. I think it's pretty funny, actually... And yes, Lion's Gate took a few minutes out of the film. It drove me crazy. There was a scene where the cops find Andy (the guy with the blonde hair) in the basement and instead of helping him shoot him. Then they burn down the cabin. Frustrating it's gone. Hopefully there will be a director's cut DVD one day, which they did promise me... CABINFEVER - You got a problem with me hanging out on the beach with hot girls? COLLETTE2 - You are very smart. IMURHOELI - I love your handle! MORPH/CHICHI - I love you guys, but you should know there's always room for more. MACHINOMAN - Bette Davis is awesome. I'm psyched to be tied to her. She's from Newton, Mass. like me. FUTURE - Glad you finally got around to seeing the movie - and that you got it. CLUMSY - Thanks for your comments! Keep at it. It's the people who are most persistent that succeed. BRETHART - DDP is actually a part owner of CABIN FEVER. He's a really cool guy. Although mostly I hang out with Chris Jericho these days, who is a huge Cabin Fever fan... RAW - Susan Jackson from Turtles Crossing was our sales agent, along with Cassian Elwes at William Morris Independents. They sold our film at Toronto to Lion's Gate. NYGHT - You're a massage therapist?!? You sound like a dream girl. Send your p/r to the raw nerve office. Info is at www.rawnerve.net. Okay everyone I am off to the editing room. Thanks for keeping the Fever going!!!! Eli

LMFAO [/INTERNETWRESTLINGSMARK] I thought it was cool that you answered my question. I bragged about it to my mates and they were clearly jealous.

Hey Eli, I think it's great how you post on this message board and I hope you can reply to this I've been doing swimsuit modeling on and off for a few months but now that it's Autumn (here in Australia) I've given it a break and now I'm pursuing my love for acting but you have no idea how hard it is to get discovered in Australia! So if you ever need any Aussie talent in your movies I'm more then willing Anyway I love your movie and after seeing it more then 30 times it's still haunting me! It's the best horror movie I've seen in years! I love it! Your a great director and your so sexy. I look forward to seeing some more of your fantastic work soon! Lot's of love Rebecca P.S: Marry me! LoL

Hi Everyone, I just did an interview for the website bloody-disgusting.com about HOSTEL. I thought you might enjoy it... www.bloody-disgusting.com/features.php?id=102I'm editing the film now and should have a release date soon. I'm really excited for you guys to see it, I'm very happy with how it's turning out. It's pretty fuckin' sick... Now to answer a few questions... OBSESSED: A swimsuit model? And a Cabin Fever fan? Is such a thing possible? I will need to see proof. Also, I like to e-mail a few times with someone before I accept a marriage proposal. BLINK: Glad you like that line. Bert's based on my friend Jeff, he says shit like that all the time. No matter what you say to him, his response is either "fuck you" or "you're gay." I can have conversations with him for an hour, that's the only thing he'll say. He's kind of a genius. FUTURE: I'll let you know when Hostel's coming out. These things take time. I could rush and bunch of movies out but what's the point, you know? Better to take the time and do it right... Thanks for the support everyone! The internet talk really helps - the studios read it and your support makes a huge difference. Also I did an interview for the Jaws documentary that went up on their site: www.sharkisstillworking.comBack to editing... Eli

Hi Eli, Who would you like to work with that you haven't worked with already? If I ever got to make a horror film I'd love to have Linnea Quigley do a cameo, she's awesome!
The movie I was going to get to work on is coming out soon, I wonder how it turned out, it's called Motorhome Massacre. They are going Atlanta premiere it in August.
Corny question, but if you ever are thinking of working on a film in Georgia, would you give someone who posts on a website and is a fan and would like to make movies a chance? I was just curious, weirder things have happened. Good Luck with the editing!
